Summer is Coming

The little guy is more mobile now, rolling to his tummy and side to side to get things he wants, like blocks, rattles, and stuffed animals. He has discovered the joy of sleeping on his tummy too. If you turn him on his back he’ll turn himself right back over. And most days he takes at least 2 good naps.

We still go on our walk about around the yard (and neighbor’s yards) and stroller rides. It’s nice and cool in the morning and evenings. He is tickled when the wind blows on his face and we get lots of giggles and smiles. He likes to reach out and grab thing but the only things we’re quick enough to touch are trees and flowers. We’re having so much fun!

Easter

Happy Easter!
We all went to church today to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord. We all liked the singing and the little one had several amens, in the form of raspberries (one of his favorite things to do) for the preacher. He also likes to hit very high pitches as he squeal with delight, but he didn’t have many of those for the preacher today. Maybe we’ll keep them for play time.

Yesterday we planted some flowers in front of the house and our little man helped to position and space them. He did a great job, but soon it was time for a nap and he took a rare 2 hour nap. It must have been all that yard work. He’s chewing and grabbing everything in reach. Very soon long hair will be a no-no.
